August Bank Holiday weekend saw LRC members out in force to support Beacon parkrun in central Lichfield . From pacers to barcode scanners, tail walkers to Run Director, we painted the park yellow and filled a huge number of the volunteer roles.

We provided pacers for finish times from 18 minutes to 38 minutes. Our marshals got some practice in ready for Lichfield 10k, cheering everyone on enthusiastically. This seemed to bring a smile to many faces.

Thank you to all our members for giving up their time to support the 361 runners.
